Dr. Moorean A. Baker has over 25 years of experience as a Pediatric Dentist, treating children from infancy through adolescence in all disciplines of pediatric dentistry. She attended Howard University College of Dentistry where she received the Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Baker then traveled to Los Angeles, California to complete her postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at martin Luther King Jr. Hospital and UCLA College of Dentistry. After receiving her postgraduate certificate, she moved back to her native city of Washington, D.C. She immediately started private practice and joined the faculty of Howard University, College of Dentistry where she climbed the academic ranks to become an associate professor. Dr. Baker serves as vice president of the District of Columbia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Baker is also on attending staff at Howard University Hospital and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the National Dental Association, and the Howard University Hospital Medical Association. Dr. Baker is joint owner and partner of Capitol Hill Dental Associates, where she engages in private practice. Her area of special interest focuses on infant and toddler oral health. Her hobbies include horseback riding, weight training and participating in fitness boot camps. She also enjoys spoiling her horses, Butter milk, Frances and Yoa.
